Accounting Integration: Collaborate directly with internal bookkeeping and accounting teams to ensure accurate, timely month-end closes and financial statement preparation.

Process & Record Hygiene: Maintain organized, audit-ready client documentation, task tracking, and structured financial records across all assigned accounts.
Requirements

Leadership Experience: 2 to 5 years of professional experience operating as a CFO, Fractional CFO, or senior financial advisor supporting U.S.-based small to mid-sized businesses.

Accounting Software Mastery: 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience navigating QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Financial & Modeling Capabilities: Deep expertise in financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, variance analysis, and advanced Microsoft Excel spreadsheet modeling.

Client-Facing Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English skills, with proven confidence leading live virtual presentations and translating technical finance terms into plain language for founders.

Academic Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

Exclusivity & Independence: Full availability to work 40 hours per week dedicated exclusively to this engagement during core US Eastern hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET) without subcontracting or delegating work.

Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, MSA, or MBA.

Working familiarity with tools such as Hubflo, My TaxPrepOffice, or modern financial reporting and dashboard platforms.

Experience supporting startups, professional service firms, or founder-managed businesses.

Knowledge of U.S. small business tax planning considerations and company valuation frameworks.

Client Performance Elevation: Delivering measurable improvements in client gross margins, cash flow liquidity, and budget variance precision.

Advisory Engagement & Satisfaction: Maintaining high client retention and trust across the managed portfolio through proactive, clear communication.

Deliverable Timeliness: On-time completion of all monthly reporting packages, cash flow updates, and budget iterations.
