We are bringing on a Google Ads Specialist to own paid search performance across a portfolio of 6–10 home service clients. Google Ads is the foundation of everything we deliver, and this role exists to run that channel with real ownership — not just maintenance. 

 

This is not a generalist marketing role. You will own Google Search Ads and Local Services Ads (LSAs) for a focused set of clients in one niche. The scope is tight on purpose — so you can go deep, build repeatable processes, and scale the work as the client roster grows. 

 

You will work closely with our Director of Operations and integrate with a small team that includes a paid ads specialist (Meta), a developer, and a web team. You are expected to manage your own workflow, flag issues before they surface, and bring clear thinking to performance conversations.

 
  • You have hands-on experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or roofing verticals specifically

Responsibilities

Google Ads (Primary) 

  • Build, manage, and optimize Google Search campaigns for home service clients
  • Run Local Services Ads (LSAs) where applicable and manage Google Guaranteed status
  • Conduct ongoing keyword research, match type refinement, and negative keyword management
  • Monitor and improve Quality Scores, CTR, and conversion rates across accounts
  • Manage budgets and pacing across the client portfolio
  • Provide clear performance reporting with forward-looking recommendations 
 

Local Services Ads (LSAs) 

  • Set up, manage, and optimize LSA campaigns across client accounts
  • Manage Google Guaranteed verification and maintain compliance requirements
  • Monitor lead quality, dispute invalid leads, and optimize budget allocation
  • Coordinate with clients to maintain review velocity and profile health
  • Track cost-per-lead performance and flag issues or opportunities proactively

Requirements

  • 3+ years running Google Ads campaigns, with demonstrated results in home services or local service businesses
  • Hands-on experience managing Local Services Ads (LSAs) and Google Guaranteed accounts
  • Strong understanding of paid search strategy — you think in terms of search intent and lead quality, not just platform mechanics
  • Comfortable managing 6–10 client accounts simultaneously without things slipping
  • Clear, proactive communicator — clients never wonder where things stand, and our internal team hears about issues before they become problems
  • Self-directed with a collaborative disposition — you don’t need hand-holding, but you work well within a small team structure
  • Google Ads certification (Search, Local)
  • Familiarity with GoHighLevel or similar CRM and marketing platforms
  • Experience working within a fractional or multi-client agency model
