Job Title: HR Lead (with Financial Background)
Location: Remote - open to candidates in Philippines and India (Preffered)
Working schedule and Time zone: Local business hours in Nashville, TN (CST)

Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on HR Lead with a strong financial background to take full ownership of our people function during a critical transition phase. This role requires a strategic thinker who can also execute operationally, ensuring seamless talent management while maintaining oversight of shared services and financial alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Leadership
- Manage and oversee all talent within the organization across the full employee lifecycle
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations
- Drive HR strategy aligned to business goals and growth plans
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
Shared Services Oversight
- Provide oversight and coordination across shared services functions (HR, payroll, finance coordination)
- Ensure operational efficiency and alignment across departments
- Support process improvements and system optimization
Systems & Payroll Management
- Manage and optimize HR and payroll systems, specifically Gusto and Rippling
- Lead and support the current transition between systems, ensuring data integrity and continuity
- Oversee payroll processes and ensure accuracy and compliance
Financial Coordination
- Work closely with finance teams to align HR and financial planning
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for reporting, reconciliation support, and financial insights related to HR
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cost management initiatives
- Monitor project budgets, burn rates, and forecasts; escalate risks early
- Track resource utilization, billability, and accounts receivable
- Maintain equipment and asset inventory with full accountability
- Support financial reporting, forecasts, and expense validation
- Ensure timekeeping accuracy and develop SOPs for billing processes
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HR Lead / HR Manager / HR Business Partner
- Strong financial acumen with hands-on exposure to finance systems
- Experience with Gusto and/or Rippling (essential) - We currently use Gusto and will be transitioning over to Rippling soon
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (essential)
- Demonstrated experience managing HR during periods of change or system transitions
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
