About the Role:
We're looking for an In-Platform Digital Marketing Specialist to manage, analyze, and optimize paid media campaigns across Google, Meta, and programmatic display platforms on a daily basis. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone who lives inside the ad platforms, reviewing performance, presenting recommendations, making optimizations, and implementing direction from the broader marketing team to keep campaigns performing at their best.
What You’ll Do:
- Analyze campaign performance daily across all active accounts and platforms, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities
- Establish an ongoing campaign maintenance structure where campaigns are proactively managed on a daily and weekly basis, while also leaving time for more comprehensive optimizations and changes.
- Prepare performance reports for broader team that share campaign insights, underperforming campaigns, and assessment/diagnoses of campaign opportunities
- Optimize campaigns daily, including bid/budget adjustments, audience refinement, creative rotation, keyword and negative keyword management, placement exclusions, and other platform-specific levers
- Execute direction from the marketing team, translating strategic guidance into specific in-platform updates and optimizations
- Manage campaigns across the full Google Ads suite, including Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen, and YouTube
- Manage Meta campaigns across Facebook and Instagram, including campaign structure, audience strategy, and creative testing
- Manage programmatic display campaigns and other awareness and retargeting campaigns to improve audience, reach, frequency, and traffic quality
- Monitor account health and pacing, flagging budget, delivery, or performance issues proactively
- Stay current on platform updates, new features, and best practices across Google, Meta, and other ad platforms, and apply relevant changes to active campaigns
- Report on campaign performance, translating data into clear takeaways and recommendations for the team –ensuring that client-facing team members are clear on what changes were made and the outcome of those optimizations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with strategy, creative, and analytics teams to align on goals and ensure campaigns reflect broader marketing objectives
Required Qualification & Skills:
- Hands-on experience managing campaigns across the full Google Ads platform, including Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen, and YouTube
- Hands-on experience managing campaigns on Meta Ads Manager (Facebook/Instagram)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and translate it into optimizations
- Comfort working within platform interfaces daily — this is an execution-heavy, in-platform role
- Ability to take direction and feedback from a team and implement it accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, ownership-driven approach to account management
- Ability to stay current on fast-changing platform features and adapt campaigns accordingly
What Success Looks Like:
- Campaigns are reviewed and optimized every business day without exception
- Direction from the team is implemented quickly and correctly
- Performance trends are caught early and addressed before they become larger issues
- Campaigns consistently reflect current platform best practices and new feature adoption
