Our client is a specialist ticket marketplace business that combines proprietary data, market intelligence, and commercial expertise to identify profitable opportunities across the secondary ticket market.

Working as a small, highly analytical team, they leverage custom-built internal tools and real-time market data to make informed purchasing decisions that directly impact business performance.

We're looking for an analytical Inventory Strategist who enjoys identifying opportunities before the broader market reacts.

You'll work alongside our data team and leverage a proprietary ticket intelligence platform that provides real-time market signals, buy suggestions, and pricing analytics. Your feedback will directly help shape how these tools continue to evolve.

This is a specialist analytical position where your market intelligence and commercial judgement will directly influence purchasing decisions involving real capital. Success comes from combining data, instinct, and market awareness to consistently identify profitable inventory opportunities.

  • Identify and evaluate buying opportunities across major ticket marketplaces, providing recommendations that directly inform purchasing decisions.

  • Monitor live ticket markets to identify buying windows before broader market movements occur.
  • Evaluate inventory performance and continuously refine purchasing recommendations based on historical outcomes.
  • Partner closely with buyers and internal stakeholders to improve purchasing decisions through actionable market intelligence.
  • Maintain reporting and analytical insights that strengthen long-term inventory performance and profitability.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to the data team to help improve proprietary analytics and decision-support tools.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modelling, analysis).
  • Experience analysing pricing trends, market behaviour, arbitrage opportunities, or similar commercial datasets.
  • Ability to interpret multiple sources of information and translate them into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong commercial judgement with an understanding of balancing risk and reward.
  • Comfortable working in fast-moving markets where decisions often need to be made before perfect information is available.

Candidates with experience in one or more of the following environments are highly desirable:

  • Ticket resale or ticket brokerage
  • Financial trading
  • Sports betting or odds analysis
  • Marketplace arbitrage
  • Revenue management
  • E-commerce pricing strategy
  • Demand forecasting
  • Secondary marketplace analysis

  • Highly analytical and commercially minded.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making ability.
  • Curious, proactive, and naturally opportunity-focused.
  • Comfortable working independently.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Adaptable in rapidly changing market environments.
  • Able to clearly communicate recommendations supported by data.

Success in this role means:

  • Consistently identifying buying opportunities that generate strong returns.
  • Becoming a trusted source of insight that shapes purchasing decisions.
  • Proactively identifying market opportunities before competitors.
  • Building institutional knowledge around artists, venues, events, and purchasing trends.
  • Helping improve purchasing consistency by replacing intuition with repeatable, data-driven decision making.

You enjoy solving commercial problems through data, analysis, and pattern recognition.

You're comfortable making commercially sound decisions in real time, understanding that in a live market the cost of waiting can often outweigh the cost of making an informed decision with imperfect information.

Whether your experience comes from ticketing, financial markets, betting, arbitrage, pricing strategy, or another analytical environment, you naturally evaluate opportunity against risk and enjoy making recommendations that influence meaningful business decisions.

This isn't a customer service, operations, or data entry position.

Success isn't measured by completing repetitive tasks or maintaining spreadsheets. Instead, success comes from identifying profitable opportunities, making commercially sound recommendations, and influencing purchasing decisions through thoughtful analysis and market insight.

Every inventory decision has a direct impact on profitability.

Your analysis will help shape purchasing strategy, improve returns, reduce inventory risk, and contribute to the continued evolution of the company's proprietary decision-making platform.

For someone who enjoys analysing markets, making informed commercial decisions, and seeing the direct impact of their work, this is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in a growing, data-driven business.
