Job Title: Equity Research & Investment Analyst
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Australia Western Time
Salary: $2,000–$3,500 USD/month (final offer depending on the client’s discretion)
Work Setup: Remote | Independent Contractor

We are a boutique investment bank and corporate advisory firm focused on high-growth and emerging ASX-listed companies. With over $1 billion in completed capital markets transactions, we provide expertise across Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Corporate Advisory, Institutional Distribution, Investor Relations, and Equity Research.

As our research platform continues to expand, we are seeking an Equity Research & Investment Analyst to support institutional-grade research coverage, company analysis, and investment insights focused on the healthcare, life sciences, biotech, medtech, and emerging technology sectors.

This role is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in investment banking, equity research, corporate advisory, funds management, or investment analysis who are passionate about capital markets and high-growth companies.

• Conduct fundamental analysis on ASX-listed healthcare, biotech, medtech, and emerging technology companies.
• Review company announcements, financial statements, investor presentations, and industry developments to form investment views.
• Assist in producing institutional-quality equity research reports, company updates, and investment commentary.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses, including DCF, comparable company analysis, and early-stage valuation frameworks.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and identify key risks, catalysts, and growth drivers.

• Support equity capital raising mandates and broader corporate advisory projects through research and analysis.
• Prepare investment memorandums, investor presentations, and market intelligence materials.
• Assist senior management in evaluating market opportunities, sector trends, and transaction-related research.

• Track developments across life sciences, biotechnology, medical technology, AI-driven healthcare, and emerging healthcare innovations.
• Monitor institutional activity, capital raisings, M&A developments, and market sentiment.
• Identify emerging investment themes and contribute insights relevant to investors and corporate clients.
• Attend management presentations, investor briefings, webinars, and industry events.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following:

• Venture Capital or Growth Equity
• Strategy Consulting with strong financial analysis exposure

• 1–5+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, equity research, corporate finance, funds management, or capital markets.
• Experience analyzing public or private companies and forming investment recommendations or research opinions.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Experience preparing investment research, market commentary, investment memorandums, or investor-facing materials.
• Excellent written communication with the ability to explain complex investment concepts clearly.
• Strong understanding of capital markets, company valuation, and investment frameworks.
• Interest or experience within healthcare, biotech, life sciences, medtech, AI healthcare, or emerging technologies is highly preferred.
• Naturally curious, commercially minded, and passionate about investing and capital markets.
