A growing healthcare organization focused on expanding access to rheumatology and regenerative medicine services across the United States is seeking a highly organized and process-driven Lead Generation Specialist to support physician referral growth and public relations initiatives.
This role plays a critical part in building scalable outreach systems that increase physician referrals, media visibility, and long-term patient growth for a national telemedicine program.
This is not a sales role. It is a research, operations, and outreach coordination position best suited for someone who is highly detail-oriented, persistent, and comfortable executing repetitive research and tracking tasks with consistency and accuracy.
The Lead Generation Specialist will be responsible for researching, organizing, and maintaining large databases of physician referral contacts and healthcare media relationships across the United States.
The ideal candidate is highly process-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently while managing outreach workflows, CRM systems, spreadsheets, and structured follow-up activities.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys internet research, operational organization, outreach coordination, and improving systems over time.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Build and maintain a national database of physician referral sources, including:
- Primary Care Physicians
- Internal Medicine Physicians
- Family Medicine Physicians
- Nurse Practitioners
- Other relevant referring clinicians across the United States
- Research and verify accurate contact information including:
- Office phone numbers
- Fax numbers
- Email addresses
- Mailing addresses
- LinkedIn profiles
- Website and contact form information
- Track and organize outreach activity through CRM systems, spreadsheets, and internal databases
- Support outreach campaigns through:
- Email outreach
- LinkedIn outreach
- Direct mail coordination
- Fax outreach
- Phone-based follow-up
- Other approved communication channels
- Maintain clean and organized lead pipelines with accurate documentation and status tracking
- Assist in improving outreach workflows, SOPs, CRM organization, and operational processes
- Build and maintain databases of:
- Journalists
- Editors
- Podcasts
- Newsletters
- Healthcare media outlets
- Regional and national reporters
- Digital media contacts relevant to rheumatology, autoimmune disease, arthritis, pain management, and regenerative medicine
- Support media outreach campaigns and PR initiatives
- Research trending healthcare topics and timely media opportunities
- Track outreach efforts, responses, placements, and engagement metrics
- Maintain accurate CRM and database records
- Assist with lead segmentation and campaign organization
- Support the development of scalable outreach systems and future AI-assisted workflows
- Help improve operational efficiency through process refinement and documentation
- Strong internet research and lead generation skills
- CRM and spreadsheet proficiency

Requirements
