Company story 
We are a DTC brand incubator operating across the US, Malaysia, and the Philippines. We specialize in building, scaling, and optimizing consumer brands in beauty, wellness, health, lifestyle, and personal care, with several brands now reaching 7 to 8 figures in annual revenue.

Our journey started with Goda Perfume, which scaled rapidly through creative-led growth, performance marketing, and strong operational systems. After proving our model works, we expanded into building and acquiring additional high-potential DTC brands. Today, we run an integrated ecosystem where creative, operations, performance media, and product development work together to grow brands from concept to scale.
 
  • Minimum 2–4 years working with South East Asian DTC brands

  • Strong preference for beauty, fragrance, wellness, or highly niche products

  • Understands US consumer psychology, buying triggers, and cultural nuance

2. Paid Media–First Creative Mindset (Meta-Centric)

  • Deep familiarity with Meta ads (Facebook & Instagram) creative strategy

  • Clear understanding of the difference between organic social content vs paid performance creative

  • Knows how creatives are built for scaling, iteration, and testing, not just aesthetics

3. Experience with Aggressive, Desire-Driven Marketing
• Comfortable working with bold angles and strong emotional ads or has worked with products that rely heavily on mass desire, transformation, or emotional outcomes, not just functional benefits

4. UGC & Performance Copy Expertise
• Hands-on experience writing:

  • Static ad copies

  • • Understands basic performance KPIs >> hook-rate, retention, and scroll-stopping frameworks etc.
    • Adept in writing ads' messaging across TOF, MOF, BOF or levels of market awareness etc.

    5. Agency or Freelance Background (Fast-Paced Environment)

    • Prior experience in an agency or freelance setup preferred (remote)

    • Comfortable handling multiple briefs, fast turnarounds, and performance pressure

    • Used to working closely with a dynamic marketing ecosystem - Lead strategists, marketing ops, and cross collaboration with other strategists etc.

    6. Strong Research & Market Awareness

    • Research-driven when developing new concepts, not guessing

    7. South East Asian Consumer Psychology & Cultural Fluency
    • Strong grasp of:

    • South East Asian Market in general (preferred if experienced in our niche (fragrance)

    • Can write in a tone that feels native to South East Asian audience

    8. Proactive, Ownership-Driven Team Player

    • Comfortable working remotely across time zones

    • Highly proactive: flags gaps, proposes angles, and has a collaborative mindset

    • Can work independently but aligns well with a structured creative system (SOPs, briefs, feedback loops)
