We're a rapidly growing U.S.-based sports content brand with a distinctive, culture-first lens on sports, producing social-first content that moves at the speed of sports. We're founder-led and in a high-growth stage, building operational infrastructure now so we can scale smoothly.
The founder operates across a small portfolio of connected brands: our flagship sports brand, a creative consulting practice, and ongoing paid social client work. This role sits at the center of that portfolio, keeping everything moving and helping make the work.
About the Role
~1 min readThe founder is currently the single point of failure across all three brands, the blocker on nearly everything. This role exists to change that.
We're hiring a proactive, creative-first partner, essentially a second brain, who can keep the creative pipeline flowing, contribute real creative work (briefs, scripts, content, ideation), and take coordination and admin off the founder's plate. The goal is to free the founder to focus on growing the flagship sports brand and higher-value strategy, while trusting that the day-to-day keeps running and the work keeps shipping.
This is not a task-by-task assistant role. It's built for someone who takes ownership, anticipates needs, brings ideas, and moves things forward without being told each step.
Responsibilities
~2 min readCreative & Content
- →Write creative briefs, UGC and short-form ad scripts (TikTok and beyond), and hooks
- →Ideate ad concepts and map out creative directions; help shape paid social creative strategy (we don't buy or manage the media ourselves, so this is creative strategy, not media buying)
- →Design social and ad assets in Canva from our existing templates; light video editing in CapCut
- →Build out and improve AI-assisted ad production and creative workflows
Creative Workflow & Operations
- →Traffic creative assets between the founder, designers, and clients: right place, right format, on time
- →Keep projects, timelines, and hand-offs on track across brands
- →Own recurring admin end-to-end (contracts such as intern agreements, organization, documentation) so it leaves the founder's plate for good
Paid Social Support
- →Support the paid social workflow: organize, move, and manage assets and campaigns through the process
- →Pull and interpret performance data (e.g., Motion) to sharpen ideation and iterate on creative
- →This is a support role within paid social. You won't lead or buy media, but you'll need to understand the space deeply enough to build strong creative and speak the language confidently.
Flagship Sports Brand Growth (grows over time)
- →Ideate and create content across social (TikTok, Instagram, Threads)
- →Help write and QA the daily brief; help build out the newsletter and automated email flows
- →Support brand, partnership, and sponsorship outreach, ideation, and management
Cross-Brand Coordination
- →Act as the connective tissue across the flagship sports brand, the consulting practice, and paid social client work
- →Shift priorities smoothly as volume changes across brands
Requirements
~2 min read- A strong, versatile writer who can shift tone by context: a punchy TikTok script one minute, a polished creative brief the next. Fluent in English and in American cultural context, so the references land and the copy reads native to a US audience.
- Working familiarity with paid and organic social content (Meta, Instagram, TikTok ad ecosystems), enough to build strong creative, support workflows, and speak the language confidently
- Genuine interest in and understanding of American sports (football, basketball, soccer, hockey, and the major pro leagues); can speak to fans credibly
- Deep understanding of the millennial and Gen Z female audience, and the ability to write and think through her lens
- Comfort with creative tools and a real sense for design: Canva (required-level comfort), light CapCut-style editing, and an understanding of design principles
- Comfortable using AI and building it into workflows
- Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to work autonomously and proactively; comfortable juggling multiple brands at once
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Consistent overlap with CST business hours
- Experience supporting a founder, solo operator, or small agency; startup experience across a variety of focus areas
- Familiarity with creative/performance analytics (Motion) and pulling and building reports
- Familiarity with email and newsletter tools (Beehiiv) and social scheduling platforms
- Familiarity with creative production processes and hand-offs
You are:
- Creative-first with an organized mind. Ideas first, but structured enough to run a workflow and hit deadlines.
- Highly proactive. You spot what needs doing and do it.
- Autonomous and comfortable with ambiguity; you can run with "figure it out" rather than needing everything spelled out.
- Calm with change, since the business is still evolving and priorities shift.
- A clear, reliable communicator who keeps people in the loop.
- Fluent enough in paid social to be useful from day one.
- A real sports fan who gets the content space and understands the female fan.
