About the Role:
The Paralegal will support attorneys in the preparation and management of California personal injury cases. This includes drafting discovery, preparing case documents, supporting litigation overflow, and maintaining organized files. This role requires deep knowledge of California PI law and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Draft discovery responses and propound discovery on defendants.
Prepare legal documents, filings, and litigation support materials.
Assist attorneys with case preparation and scheduling.
Organize and maintain case files and ensure documents are stored correctly.
Support litigation overflow and help manage timelines and follow ups.
Hard Skills Required:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in California personal injury law.
Strong experience drafting discovery and managing litigation processes.
Proficiency with legal management software and document systems.
Strong understanding of California PI procedures and case flow.
Soft Skills Required:
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and at a fast pace.
Comfort working directly with attorneys and supporting team needs.
Nice to Have:
Spanish speaking ability.
Experience working with US based PI firms while overseas.
