Python / Go Scriptwriter – Sports Product Support
Location: Remote (LATAM or Philippines preferred, open SA)

PH $1,200–$1,900 USD/month
(South Africa/LATAM $2,000 - 2,500)

Schedule: Full-time, off-hours coverage (evenings/weekends aligned with U.S. ET)
A fast-growing sports technology platform enabling real-time sports data, betting insights, and live event coverage. The company is expanding its remote team to enhance product stability, improve feature development, and support live event operations.
This role is critical for maintaining and enhancing the platform during peak sports hours while also contributing to ongoing product development. Your work ensures smooth live-event coverage and enables the team to scale faster.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop, maintain, and optimize scripts in Go to support live event coverage and product operations.
- →Troubleshoot and resolve issues during live sports events (evenings/weekends in U.S. ET).
- →Work on backlog tasks including feature development, bug fixes, and process improvements.
- →Collaborate with the core product and operations team to align scripts and automation with business needs, web / data scraping specifically
- →Document processes, maintain code quality, and ensure reliable QA/testing of scripts.
- →Integrate & maintain data ingestion systems by working with APIs and data scraping tools
Requirements
~1 min read- Strong programming skills in Python and Go.
- Experience with QA, testing, debugging, and automation scripting.
- Ability to work independently and handle dual-purpose responsibilities (live coverage + backlog work).
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings/weekends aligned with U.S. ET.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Experience in sports, gaming, or real-time data platforms.
- Familiarity with DevOps workflows or CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of distributed remote teams across multiple time zones.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs, connecting to data streams
- using Playwright
- Reliable live-event coverage and script performance.
- Completion of backlog tasks and feature development on schedule.
- Responsiveness during off-hours incidents.
- Code quality and QA testing standards maintained.
