About the company and the role:

A full-service digital marketing agency based in South Bend, Indiana, supporting 100+ clients nationwide. This role supports both our internal marketing engine and client fulfillment, reporting directly to the Founder with day-to-day team support in Slack. This is not an SDR role—there is no cold calling and there are no revenue quotas. Success is measured entirely by shipping high-quality marketing output on schedule, taking ownership, and operating with proactive communication.

Key Responsibilities:
Inbound Nurturing & Outbound Automation

• Newsletter Management: Support the weekly dental newsletter (Marketing Minute 4 Dentists) through lead magnets, content upgrades, and subscriber growth tactics; manage production, formatting, and scheduling in Beehiiv.
• Webinar Execution: Build landing pages, execute promotional campaigns, and manage reminder and follow-up email sequences.
• Outbound & Referral Automation: Oversee automated outbound sequences in Explee, routing warm leads directly to the Founder; track referrals and send thank-yous/bonuses.
• Social & PR: Launch and manage Alpha Dog's social profiles (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn); source and pitch podcast guest opportunities for the Founder.

SEO Execution

• Keyword Research: Use Claude with Ahrefs integrations to identify high-value keyword opportunities and content gaps for Alpha Dog and its clients.
• Page Production: Draft content in Markdown (.md), leverage Claude to build HTML landing pages, and publish them directly to target websites.
• Reporting: Track traffic movement and rankings, rolling the data into monthly client reports.

General Support ("Swiss Army Knife")

• AI-Assisted Web Edits: Execute minor web builds and page edits by directing AI tools (no formal coding background required).
• Software & Data Management: Maintain software subscriptions, seat assignments, client reporting pulls, and data cleanup.
• Team Overflow: Assist senior staff with operational tasks to keep leadership focused on strategy and client relationships.

Success Metrics

• On-time shipping of assigned tasks across inbound, SEO, and operations.
• Active involvement in team syncs (Monday Zoom call, Friday written/video recaps).
• High responsiveness in Slack during working hours, with clear communication if blockers arise.
• Hitting clear milestones outlined in a structured 30/60/90-day plan.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience: 3–6 years in generalist marketing roles, digital agencies, or execution-heavy marketing positions.
• Tool Familiarity: Comfortable with (or willing to quickly learn) Beehiiv, Explee, Ahrefs, Claude, ChatGPT, Slack, Google Workspace, Canva, and major social platforms.
• AI Proficiency: Ability to direct AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT daily to streamline writing, formatting, and basic web updates.
• Core Mindset: High ownership ("give-a-shit factor"), proactive problem-solving, and a habit of raising hands early when stuck.
