About the Role

~1 min read

We are a high-growth DTC home décor and lifestyle brand known for our bold, layered, color-forward aesthetic. We are hiring a Senior Creative Producer to own the hands-on production of our email, social, paid, and product marketing assets—from concept through final delivery.

This is a senior individual-contributor role with real creative ownership. You will work directly in Klaviyo and Canva to design, build, and ship campaigns and flows—not just executing someone else's brief, but originating ideas.

You will also own our twice-yearly wholesale catalog end-to-end (built in Illustrator), alongside day-to-day paid ad creative, ad-hoc social requests, recurring web assets, monthly Postpilot mailers, ad-hoc packaging design support, and end-to-end management of product imagery for Shopify. You will partner closely with our Marketing Ops Lead on calendar strategy and report directly to our VP of Commercial Operations.

This role is open to top offshore talent in Latin America (LATAM) and South Africa. To keep pace with our U.S.-based team and collaborate in real time on live campaigns, this position requires working fixed US business hours (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern Time), regardless of your home location.

We are an AI-first, AI-curious team. We expect this role to leverage AI tools daily for copy drafting, layout ideation, image generation, retouching, and performance summarization. We are looking for someone who is already building AI into their creative workflow, not someone learning it on the job. Judgment, taste, and brand instinct still make the final call—AI accelerates the work, but it doesn't replace the eye.

Responsibilities

  • Native ESP Builds: Design and assemble emails directly inside Klaviyo so copy edits, link fixes, and last-minute changes do not require a round trip through Adobe software.
  • Canva-First Production: Create supporting graphics, social-to-email adaptations, and campaign assets in Canva (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop used where needed, but Canva is the primary driver).
  • Calendar Execution: Own the creative for the weekly and biweekly email/SMS send calendar on time, every time.
  • Meticulous QA: Build in a rigorous proofing process before every send (testing links, checking copy, confirming mobile and desktop rendering). Accuracy is non-negotiable.
  • Concept Origination: Bring fresh visual formats, layouts, and campaign concepts to the table independently. Concepts should originate from you, not be mapped out for you.
  • Independent Execution: Run with greenlit creative directions autonomously, iterating and refining without needing repeated prompting.
  • Weekly Creative Reviews: Lead weekly creative reviews during core U.S. business hours, coming prepared with what’s new, what is being tested, and what to launch next.
  • Visual Leadership: Set the visual standard across email, paid, social, and product marketing that other team members and contractors design toward.
  • End-to-End Ownership: Manage the twice-yearly wholesale assortment catalog in Illustrator from kickoff through final print-ready file delivery.
  • Imagery & Layout: Source, place, and format product photography for every SKU, keeping the visual system consistent across all pages.
  • Data Verification: Ensure pricing and barcodes for every SKU are verified against source data before going to print.
  • Hard Deadline Management: Build production timelines backward from print dates to guarantee 100% on-time delivery with zero pricing or barcode errors.
  • Paid Media Production: Produce static and video ad assets for Meta, Google, and paid social on an ongoing, standing cadence.
  • Paid Media Partnership: Partner directly with the paid media buyer on specs, testing needs, and creative refreshes as ad performance evolves.
  • Promotional Graphics: Prioritize time-sensitive static graphics for sales, promotions, and key Instagram moments with rapid turnaround times.
  • Organic-to-Paid Adaptation: Work with the Social Content team to identify top-performing organic content and adapt it into high-converting paid ad assets.
  • Platform Discipline: Build to exact platform specs (aspect ratios, safe zones, video length) to avoid rework.
  • Asset Pipeline Ownership: Prep, crop, retouch, and format new product photography from raw files through published Shopify listings.
  • VA Oversight: Direct and QA a Virtual Assistant who uploads finalized images into Shopify, ensuring naming conventions, image ordering, and alt text are accurate.
  • Catalog Auditing: Spot-check live listings across new launches and restocks to ensure visual completeness.
  • Web Assets: Design homepage banners and site content blocks, coordinating with web developers for implementation.
  • Direct Mail: Design monthly Postpilot direct-mail print deliverables on a recurring schedule.
  • Packaging Support: Assist with ad-hoc packaging design requests (inserts, box art, hang tags), aligning with product/ops teams on specs.
  • Workflow Optimization: Continuously seek out faster ways of working (templated systems, native platform tools, AI assistance).
  • Asset Libraries: Maintain clean template libraries in Klaviyo and Canva to speed up production over time.
  • Performance Analysis: Speak directly to which layouts, subject lines, and formats drive opens, clicks, and revenue—using data to iterate on future designs.

You will focus on getting fully set up to build directly inside Klaviyo, establishing a rock-solid proofing/QA process, and getting into a creative production rhythm with the Marketing Ops Lead.

Goal: Ship your first fully self-built, self-QA'd campaign by day 30 while working within our core 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern Time schedule.

  • Accuracy: Zero typos, broken links, or SKU/pricing errors in live sends, site listings, or print catalogs.
  • Turnaround Efficiency: Fast execution from brief to live send, with minimal revisions required.
  • Origination Rate: High percentage of campaign formats and ideas initiated by you vs. directed to you.
  • Creative Performance: Positive trends in open rates, click rates, ad ROAS, and revenue per send tied to your design iterations.
  • Catalog & Print Accuracy: On-schedule delivery of the twice-yearly wholesale catalog and monthly mailers with zero data discrepancies.
  • All email and SMS campaigns built directly inside Klaviyo (no Illustrator dependencies for minor text or link updates).
  • A consistent QA/proofing checklist in place with zero critical errors for consecutive weeks.
  • At least two self-initiated creative formats or campaign types tested and reviewed.
  • Weekly creative reviews running with you setting the agenda.
  • Seamless organic-to-paid creative handoff workflow established with the social team.
  • Relevant Track Record: 3–5 years of hands-on creative or design experience, ideally for a DTC, CPG, or e-commerce consumer brand.
  • ESP Mastery: Direct experience building, designing, and shipping email campaigns natively inside Klaviyo (or similar ESPs).
  • Multi-Format Capabilities: Experienced producing both static and video creative assets for paid and organic social from start to finish.
  • Shopify & Asset Prep: Experience prepping, retouching, and organizing product photography for Shopify, with experience guiding/QAing a VA's output.
  • AI Tool Integration: Already leveraging AI tools daily in your creative workflow (copywriting, visual ideation, background removal/retouching) and able to share practical examples.
  • Software Stack: Strong proficiency in Canva, alongside working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator (for the wholesale print catalog).
  • Print & Deadline Discipline: Proven ability to manage hard, non-negotiable print production deadlines with built-in buffer.
  • Time Zone & Tech: Able to work fixed hours of 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern Time (EST/EDT), Monday–Friday, with high-speed internet for real-time collaboration.
  • Flawless Communication: Outstanding written and spoken English skills for daily U.S. team collaboration.
  • Design experience in home, décor, lifestyle, or design-forward CPG.
  • Familiarity with SMS marketing platforms (Postscript, Recart, etc.).
  • Light copywriting skills for crafting engaging email subject lines and ad copy hooks.
  • Previous experience working with U.S.-based remote teams from an offshore location.
  1. Initial Screen & Portfolio Review: Assessment of DTC design portfolio, brand aesthetic, Klaviyo experience, and English fluency.
  2. Practical Design Exercise: A timed exercise evaluating email assembly, ad variation adaptation, and AI-assisted workflow.
  3. Founder & Leadership Sync: Strategic, cultural, and alignment call with executive leadership.
