About the Role
~1 min readWe are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to serve as the creative engine behind both digital presences. This is a hands-on, high-output role where you will own the full visual identity across two distinct but complementary brands—from static social media graphics to polished product videos and motion content.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining a cohesive digital portfolio of imagery and video that drives brand awareness, supports product education, and fuels sales and marketing efforts. This role is remote and staffed through our talent-on-demand partner, Somewhere, with working hours aligned to US Mountain business hours.
The ideal candidate is a versatile visual storyteller who is equally comfortable designing a product spec sheet as they are producing a 60-second product demo video with motion graphics.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Develop, maintain, and evolve the visual identity across all digital channels
- Create and manage brand guidelines, templates, and asset libraries to ensure consistency across every touchpoint
- Design branded collateral including product catalogs, sell sheets, trade show graphics, digital ads, and email templates
- Produce a steady stream of high-quality static and animated graphics for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok)
- Design website imagery, landing pages, banner ads, and email campaign visuals
- Create infographics, how-to visuals, and educational content that simplifies technical product information for end users
- Plan, shoot (remotely direct when needed), edit, and deliver product demo videos, customer testimonials, how-to tutorials, and social short-form video content
- Create motion graphics, animated product explainers, and text-overlay videos optimized for social platforms
- Manage end-to-end video production workflows including scripting, storyboarding, color grading, sound design, and captioning
- Repurpose long-form video content into short-form clips, GIFs, and animated social assets
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to translate business objectives into compelling visual content
- Manage multiple concurrent projects across both brands, meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality
- Stay current on design trends, platform updates, and competitive creative to keep both brands visually ahead of the curve
- 5+ years of professional graphic design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing both print and digital work
- Demonstrated expertise in video production including shooting, editing, motion graphics, and animation
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and Figma
- Proven ability to manage brand identity across multiple product lines or business units simultaneously
- Strong understanding of social media content best practices across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok
- Experience creating content for industrial, construction, or trade-focused B2B brands
- Ability to translate complex or technical product information into clear, engaging visual content
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines independently
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills for remote collaboration across time zones
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to take creative direction and run with it autonomously
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Experience with 3D rendering or product visualization (Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar)
- Photography skills, particularly product and on-location industrial photography
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or HubSpot) and template design
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email or landing page customization
- Experience with SEO-optimized visual content and understanding of web performance best practices
- Prior experience working in a remote, async-first environment or through a talent-on-demand agency
- Experience with Canva for quick-turnaround team assets
Complete a brand audit of all existing visual assets. Deliver an updated brand style guide and asset library foundation for both brands. Produce your first batch of social media content (minimum 10 assets per brand).
Establish a consistent content production cadence with a minimum of 20 social assets and 4 video pieces per month across both brands. Launch at least 2 product demo or explainer videos per brand. Deliver a refreshed digital portfolio including updated website imagery, product catalogs, and ad templates.
Maintain or improve content production velocity while upholding brand quality standards. Contribute to measurable increases in social media engagement rates, website traffic from visual content, and sales team satisfaction with marketing collateral. Proactively identify opportunities for visual storytelling that support product launches, trade shows, and seasonal campaigns.
