Responsibilities
~1 min read- Lead design direction for websites, landing pages, and digital product interfaces from concept through delivery.
- Craft visually distinctive UIs and interaction design that elevate brand perception and convert, ensuring every component, state, micro-interaction, and transition feels intentional and polished.
- Build and own design systems and component libraries that scale across projects and clients.
- Design across web and product contexts, moving comfortably between a marketing site and a complex app interface in the same week.
- Design with deep Webflow fluency, anticipating how layouts, interactions, and CMS structures will be built before development begins.
- Collaborate closely with Webflow developers throughout the process, not just at handoff.
- Present work to clients with clarity and confidence, and facilitate design feedback sessions.
- Plan, design, and ship CRO experiments across marketing sites and product funnels, applying several years of hands-on experience driving measurable lift.
- Read and interpret behavioral and quantitative data from tools like Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, and Mixpanel to identify friction, drop-off, and opportunities.
- Form hypotheses, define success metrics, design test variants, and partner with developers to implement A/B and multivariate tests in Webflow, Optimizely, VWO, or similar platforms.
- Map and instrument conversion funnels end-to-end, from acquisition through activation, including event tracking specs and dataLayer requirements.
- Translate analytics findings into design recommendations the team can act on, and close the loop by reporting on what worked, what didn’t, and what to test next.
- Lead design timelines end-to-end, coordinating with developers, strategists, and clients.
- Scope design work accurately and communicate tradeoffs when priorities shift.
- Keep projects moving without losing quality, knowing when to push for more time and when to make the call.
- Run structured handoffs that leave no room for ambiguity, applying the same level of precision to QA by reviewing every breakpoint, state, edge case, and interaction before launch.
- Bring a strategic perspective to design decisions, considering user goals, brand positioning, conversion outcomes, and business outcomes alongside aesthetics.
- Contribute to discovery and briefing, helping define the right problem before designing the solution.
- Identify upstream issues, content gaps, unclear hierarchy, structural problems, and conversion blockers before they show up in reviews.
- Push back when a brief is underdeveloped and come back with a sharper point of view.
- Build and maintain design standards, Figma file conventions, and component library infrastructure, treating the system as a product that is versioned, documented, and audited regularly.
- Document design decisions and patterns for reuse across the team.
- Establish and evolve design review and QA processes.
- Mentor junior designers through direct feedback, structured critique, and clear example.
- Contribute to written content for the agency's blog and case studies.
