Our client is hiring a Senior Commercial Real Estate Underwriting Analyst to support U.S. commercial real estate transactions by producing accurate, investor-ready financial models, valuations, and underwriting analyses across multiple property types.

This role is suited for someone with hands-on experience underwriting U.S. commercial real estate deals in brokerage, investment, or lending environments. You will work closely with internal leadership and client-facing teams to inform pricing, deal strategy, and capital decisions. While primarily analytical, the role requires collaboration with presentation and product teams to ensure underwriting outputs integrate cleanly into client deliverables and the broader platform.

• →Build, review, and maintain Excel-based financial models for commercial real estate assets, including stabilized and value-add scenarios
   
• →Perform full underwriting analyses including cash flow modeling, IRR calculations, equity multiples, sensitivity analyses, and exit assumptions
   
• →Analyze rent rolls, operating statements, trailing twelve-month financials, and market data to support valuations and pricing recommendations
   
• →Develop valuations using income approach, sales comparables, and market-supported assumptions
   
• →Translate underwriting outputs into client-facing deliverables and platform-ready formats
   
• →Leverage internal tools and AI-assisted workflows to increase modeling speed while maintaining institutional-quality standards
   
• →Identify errors, risks, and unrealistic assumptions and proactively flag issues
   
• →Continuously improve underwriting templates, assumptions frameworks, and internal best practices aligned with U.S. CRE standards
   

• Advanced Excel proficiency, including building underwriting models from scratch
   
• Strong understanding of U.S. commercial real estate concepts such as NOI, cap rates, exit modeling, and cash flow waterfalls
   
• Experience analyzing rent rolls, T-12s, and operating statements
   
• Valuation experience using income-based and comparable sales methodologies
   
• Familiarity with underwriting processes used by U.S. brokerages, investment managers, and lenders
   

• High attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under time constraints
   
• Strong analytical judgment and ability to independently evaluate deal assumptions
   
• Clear, professional communication skills suitable for client-facing environments
   
• Ability to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy
   
• Collaborative mindset when working with cross-functional teams
   

• 2 to 5 years of experience in commercial real estate underwriting, financial analysis, investment sales, lending, or principal-side roles
   
• Prior work experience at a U.S.-based company required
   
• Experience working with U.S.-focused real estate firms, brokerages, investment managers, or lenders
   
• Exposure to underwriting one or more asset classes including multifamily, office, retail, industrial, or mixed-use
   
• Comfortable working U.S. business hours from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM Eastern Time
   
• Excellent English proficiency with little to no accent, client-ready verbal and written communication required
   
• Exposure to automation, AI tools, or PropTech platforms is a plus
   
• Background in investment banking, private equity real estate, or institutional brokerage underwriting teams is a plus
