Our Client is seeking a proactive, self-starting Social Media & Influencer Manager to oversee digital content strategy and lead targeted influencer programs. This role is a blend of creative strategy and execution, focusing on enhancing "online noise" for our clients through organic engagement and paid amplification. You will work on high-impact campaigns, including those in the healthcare and consumer health space (e.g., emergency contraception/Plan B).
The ideal candidate is a mid-level professional who is comfortable managing the "back-and-forth" of social media, from writing content to coordinating with specialized influencers such as doctors, pharmacists, and patients.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Content Strategy & Creation: Write and develop social/digital content for various clients; create engagement plans to enhance online presence.
- →Influencer Management: Identify, engage, and set up programs with professional influencers (healthcare providers) and patient advocates.
- →Content Governance: Provide guidance to influencers on content creation; review and approve all posts to ensure alignment with client standards and regulatory requirements.
- →Campaign Integration: Integrate social and influencer efforts into broader marketing campaigns and product launches.
- →Community Management: Monitor online sentiment and respond to engagement where necessary (though many systems have limited monitoring requirements).
- →Paid Social: Assist in thinking through how to put paid media spend behind organic content to "enhance the noise."
Requirements
~1 min read- Experience: 3+ years of experience in social media management and influencer marketing.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong consumer marketing experience is essential.
- Experience in Healthcare/Pharma is a significant plus but not required.
- Communication: Exceptional English comprehension and delivery.
- Technical Skills: * Proficiency with Sprout Social (preferred).
- Familiarity with Google Sheets and standard project management tools.
- Portfolio: Must be able to provide a portfolio of past work/campaigns
- Self-Starter: Ability to take initiative and manage workloads with minimal supervision.
- Reliability: Highly responsible, dedicated to deadlines, and punctual.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a remote, global team environment.
- Initial Screen: Portfolio review and preliminary conversation.
- Interviews: Meeting with Janene and one additional team member.
- Onboarding: Looking for a start date as soon as possible in the New Year.
