They are seeking a full-time Software Developer – AI & API Integrations to provide consistent, long-term technical ownership and help build the company's internal development capabilities.
The Software Developer – AI & API Integrations will be responsible for developing software solutions, connecting third-party platforms through APIs, and identifying opportunities to integrate AI and automation into business operations.
This role is intended to replace reliance on short-term freelance developers with a dedicated technical resource who can develop a deeper understanding of the company's systems and take long-term ownership of projects.
The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of software development experience, strong technical problem-solving abilities, and hands-on experience working with APIs and modern AI technologies. Specific parking industry experience is not required, but the candidate must be capable of quickly learning new systems and translating business requirements into practical technical solutions.
Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions supporting business operations

Build new internal tools, features, and functionality based on operational requirements

Improve and maintain existing applications and workflows

Troubleshoot software issues and implement reliable solutions

Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code

Document technical solutions and development processes

Build and maintain integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms

Work with REST APIs, webhooks, authentication methods, and data exchanges
-
Review third-party API documentation and determine appropriate integration approaches
-
Troubleshoot integration failures and data synchronization issues

Develop reliable processes for transferring information between systems

Support integrations with parking technology partners and platforms such as SpotHero, Parkway, or similar providers
-
Identify opportunities to incorporate AI into existing business processes

Integrate AI models, APIs, and tools into internal software applications
-
Build AI-powered workflows that improve operational efficiency

Experiment with new AI technologies and determine practical business applications

Develop automations that reduce repetitive manual work
-
Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, reliability, and usefulness

Work with the company's existing custom, Excel-based operational systems

Identify opportunities to improve or automate spreadsheet-driven processes

Build solutions that reduce manual data entry and fragmented workflows

Help evolve internal technology infrastructure as business needs grow

Create scalable systems that can eventually replace inefficient manual processes

Translate business problems into technical requirements and solutions

Independently research unfamiliar technologies, APIs, and platforms

Evaluate potential tools and recommend appropriate technical approaches

Troubleshoot issues across applications, integrations, and workflows

Balance speed of execution with long-term maintainability

Work directly with leadership and operational stakeholders to understand business requirements

Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical team members

Provide regular updates on development priorities and project progress

Requirements

Previous experience integrating with platforms such as SpotHero, Parkway, or similar technology providers

Experience automating spreadsheet or Excel-based workflows

Familiarity with parking, mobility, transportation, or property technology

Experience working within a growing small or mid-sized business

Interest in eventually taking on increased technical ownership or leadership responsibilities

Hands-on experience developing and integrating APIs
Strong understanding of software development fundamentals
Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and third-party integrations
Familiarity with AI tools, AI APIs, or AI-powered software development
Strong technical problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Ability to learn unfamiliar platforms and technologies quickly
Experience working with databases, data structures, or data-driven applications
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
