Location: Remote
Schedule: Part-Time (Up to 20 hours/week) | US/EU overlap preferred
Compensation: (part-time, based on experience)
We are a fast-growing DTC brand operating at scale within paid social, where creative output is the primary driver of growth.
Our marketing strategy is built on high-volume, rapid iteration of short-form video ads across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), leveraging UGC and direct-response creative to drive customer acquisition.
This role is not about cinematic editing or brand storytelling.
We are looking for a performance-driven video editor who has experience producing large volumes of direct-response ads — specifically for Meta.
You will be responsible for taking raw footage (UGC, product content, etc.) and turning it into high-converting, short-form ad creatives quickly and consistently.
The ideal candidate has worked in environments where:
- Speed matters more than perfection
- Volume and iteration are critical
- Creative decisions are driven by performance, not opinion
As the client put it, they want someone who has effectively “cranked out thousands of Facebook ads” and understands what works.
- Edit short-form, vertical video ads for Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
- Turn raw UGC and internal footage into ad-ready creatives
- Produce multiple variations per concept (hooks, angles, pacing)
- Maintain fast turnaround times across a high volume of assets
- Optimize the first 1–3 seconds of every video (critical for performance)
- Build scroll-stopping intros designed to capture attention immediately
- Continuously test different hooks and opening structures
- Focus on “chop funnel” style ads (high-volume, direct-response creative)
- Avoid overly polished or brand-heavy editing styles
- Prioritize speed, clarity, and conversion over aesthetics
(Think: Quince, Aura Ring, Ketone IQ-style ad formats)
- Rapidly create variations of winning creatives
- Iterate based on feedback from internal teams
- Support ongoing creative testing initiatives
- Manage and organize large volumes of creative inputs
- Work efficiently with minimal direction or incomplete briefs
- Deliver consistent output without bottlenecks
- 3–5+ years of video editing experience
- Strong experience editing paid social ads (Meta-focused)
- Proven history of producing high volumes of ad creatives
- Experience working with UGC-style content
- Understands that the goal is conversion, not aesthetics
- Familiar with direct-response creative structures
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, test-and-learn environments
- Advanced proficiency in:
- Adobe Premiere Pro (required)
- After Effects (nice to have)
- CapCut or similar tools (strong plus for speed)
- Strong pacing, cutting, and attention-grabbing editing style
- Fast, efficient, and output-oriented
- Comfortable producing multiple assets per day
- Able to work with minimal guidance
- Not overly perfectionist — prioritizes iteration speed

- This is a part-time role (max ~20 hours/week)
