SU - CNC Programmer

Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. This position requires hands-on experience with CNC lathes and the ability to write G-code and M-code programs manually (long-hand). The ideal candidate will have experience working with both Fanuc and Okuma Windows-based controls, and will be capable of creating efficient and accurate CNC programs without the aid of automated CAM systems.

 Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of CNC programming experience.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code syntax.
• Hands-on experience with both Fanuc and Okuma CNC controls.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Experience programming without the use of CAD/CAM software (manual long-hand 
• programming required).

Responsibilities

• Guide financial firms in adopting and implementing AI tools.
• Communicate AI concepts clearly to non-technical executive audiences.
• Provide practical support with tools like ChatGPT, prompt engineering, and workflow design.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with SolidWorks for reading and understanding drawings (no design work 
• required).
• Previous experience supporting both lathe and mill-turn CNC machines.
• Working knowledge of precision measuring instruments and quality control standards.

$ 1,500 - $ 2,900 per month, paid in USD depending on experience.
