The Role We are looking for a versatile and high-output Creative Video Editor to join our e-commerce media team as a direct right-hand to our Creative Strategist, Javier. This isn't just a role for someone who can cut clips; we need a "full-stack" editor who can move between multiple styles of high-performing ads—from polished UGC creator content to voice-over driven videos and fully AI-generated creative assets.
You will be the second key hire in this department, working directly under Javier to scale our video output. Because Javier is based in Puerto Rico, we are specifically looking for talent in LATAM to ensure seamless cultural and linguistic alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Strategic Support: Work directly with the Creative Strategist to execute the vision for high-converting e-commerce ads.
- Multi-Format Editing: Produce a high volume of videos across three primary pillars:
- UGC: Polishing raw creator footage into high-engagement ads.
- Voice-Over: Crafting compelling narratives using VO and b-roll.
- AI-Generated: Using cutting-edge tools to build full video assets from scratch.
- High-Volume Production: Edit and iterate on short-form content (TikTok, Reels, IG) at scale, maintaining a pace of high-performing daily outputs.
- Strategic Iteration: Refine editing styles based on ad performance metrics and Javier’s strategic direction.
- Trend Mastery: Stay ahead of social media trends to ensure our ads feel native to the platforms they live on.
Requirements
- Location & Language: Must be based in LATAM. Native or professional Spanish fluency is required to work closely with our Creative Strategist, alongside strong English for brand coordination.
- Technical Mastery: Expert proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar suites.
- AI Expertise: Demonstrated experience using AI video generation and editing tools to streamline production.
- Direct Experience: A proven track record of creating e-commerce ads that drive actual revenue/conversions.
- Reliability: Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with a "high agency" mindset.
Schedule
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central Time (CT).
