About the Role
~1 min readWe are looking for a UGC Video Editor who thrives in a performance marketing environment—someone who can produce high-volume, scrappy, conversion-driven content rather than polished brand films.
You will work alongside a UK-based team to create short-form video ads that drive measurable results across paid channels. This role is ideal for an editor who understands how to turn raw footage into engaging, high-converting creatives quickly and efficiently.
This is not a traditional cinematic editing role. Instead, success in this position comes from speed, iteration, and performance mindset.
Responsibilities

- Incorporate hooks, captions, pacing, and storytelling optimized for performance
- Understand what makes ads convert, not just look good
- Iterate on creatives based on performance feedback
- Apply best practices for:
- Hook optimization (first 3 seconds)
- Retention pacing
- Clear messaging and CTAs
- Work in 2-week sprint cycles with structured briefs
- Deliver approximately:

- Maintain consistency, organization, and timely delivery
- Join team meetings with UK-based stakeholders (reasonable timezone overlap required)
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams on briefs and iterations
- Take feedback quickly and apply changes efficiently
- Proven experience editing UGC-style or performance marketing video content
- Strong understanding of paid social creative best practices
- Ability to produce high-volume output without sacrificing effectiveness
- Comfortable working with lo-fi, fast-paced content styles
- Proficiency in tools such as:
- Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar
- Experience with:
- Subtitles, motion graphics, and quick visual hooks
- AI tools for editing or content enhancement (nice to have)
- Scrappy, fast, and highly execution-oriented
- Performance-driven (cares about results, not just aesthetics)
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Comfortable working in structured sprint environments
- Open to feedback and rapid iteration
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Experience editing for DTC or health/wellness brands
- Familiarity with ad testing frameworks and creative iteration cycles
- Understanding of UGC creator workflows and formats
- Fully remote, async-friendly with some scheduled collaboration
- Long-term opportunity for high performers
- Fast-paced environment with clear output expectations and structured workflows
- Focus on volume + performance, not perfection
- Join a growing team investing heavily in performance-driven creative
- Opportunity to own a critical function in paid media growth
- Work on content that directly impacts revenue and scaling
- Clear path to long-term engagement and expansion
