The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is looking for a dynamic individual with keen attention to detail to join our Office of Economic Assistance (OEA) Child Support Enforcement (CSE) Team as a CSE Accountant II.

Under limited supervision, the Accountant II, performs full-performance professional accounting work involving a wide variety of accounting and related financial activities.

Proof reimbursement requests that come from Nebraska Child Support Offices.

Follow a logical progression of steps to come up with the correct amounts.

Need to be able to post payroll expenses accurately.

Hiring Rate: $25.403 per hour – non-exempt

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Dress Attire: Business Casual

Location: Lincoln – Nebraska State Office Building

Requirements

Must have the ability to use excel, generate additional formulas when necessary and change existing formulas to accommodate different amounts and types of pay periods posting for each quarter.

Experience reading contracts and/or subgrants.

Experience with payables.
