Maintenance Specialist II - Central Office

Associates degree or equivalent vocational education in construction, HVAC, welding, or other maintenance/construction trade and one year of experience in building maintenance or a mechanical trade.

Perform skilled facility maintenance and repairs, including carpentry, HVAC, flooring, drywall, electrical, plumbing, locksmithing, and painting.
Install, repair, and maintain locks, and security hardware throughout the facility.
Oversee preventative maintenance and safety inspections to ensure a safe, secure, and functional environment.
Supervise inmate maintenance porters while maintaining accountability of tools and work areas.
Complete building alterations and repairs, including framing, concrete finishing, and flooring.
Assist with seasonal duties such as lawn care and snow removal.
