MOE Teacher – (Islamic Education, Arabic, Social Studies, or Moral Education (MOE) An MOE teacher specializing in Islamic Education, Arabic, Social Studies, or Moral Education. The teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons, assess student performance, and instill a sense of social responsibility, ethical values, and cultural understanding. This role requires a deep understanding of the UAE's educational framework, and the teacher should foster an inclusive, positive, and supportive learning environment for students. Key Responsibilities: Inclusive Classroom Environment: Create a welcoming and respectful classroom environment that reflects the UAE's values, promoting cultural sensitivity and respect for Emirati traditions. Foster a sense of belonging for students from diverse backgrounds. Curriculum Development: Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the MOE curriculum. Interactive Teaching: Use creative, interactive, and student-centered teaching methodologies to make lessons engaging. Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and active participation through discussions, projects, and group work. Clear Learning Objectives: Communicate clear and achievable learning objectives to students, ensuring they understand both academic expectations and behavioral goals. Individualized Support: Provide personalized attention to students, adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse learning needs of each student. Technology Integration: Utilize digital tools and educational technology to enhance learning experiences, promote digital literacy, and facilitate remote learning when necessary. Student Assessment: Regularly assess and evaluate student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments. Provide timely feedback to students and parents on academic progress and areas for improvement. Collaborative Projects: Collaborate with other teachers in interdisciplinary projects that integrate various subjects, encourage critical thinking, and develop well-rounded students with strong moral values. Community and Parental Involvement: Engage with the wider school community, encourage student participation in extracurricular activities, and maintain open communication with parents regarding their child’s academic progress and well-being. Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment by implementing effective behavior management strategies and promoting student responsibility and respect. Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with educational best practices, curricular updates, and teaching methodologies. Additional Information: Cultural Sensitivity: Promote understanding and respect for Emirati culture and traditions while fostering a globally aware mindset among students. Technology as a Tool: Integrate technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences, supporting distance learning and digital literacy where necessary. Differentiation Strategies: Adapt teaching techniques to cater to students with diverse learning styles, abilities, and language proficiency, ensuring that all students have an equal opportunity to succeed. Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Friday early dismissal. Early bird program and afternoon dismissal on a rotating schedule. School holidays follow the calendar approved by the MOE. Requirements Bachelor's Degree: Field: Education (e.g., Islamic Education, Arabic, Social Studies, Moral Education), or a related field. Description: A bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is required Experience and Skills: Teaching Experience: Experience teaching students, preferably in a multicultural or UAE national setting. Language Proficiency: Native Arabic speaker with proficiency in English. Curriculum Knowledge: Familiarity with the MOE curriculum for relevant subjects is a plus. Classroom Management: Ability to create an inclusive and positive classroom environment. Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
