LGV Class C+E Driver - Appleby Westward Group

We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our team and play a key role in delivering high‑quality services to our organisation.

Based in the depot, this role is responsible for the delivery of ambient goods to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of retailers’ orders, paying particular attention to route departure times and vehicle load capacities.  This role involves ‘multi-drop’ deliveries and loading of vehicles.  The successful applicant will also be expected to ‘handball’ some deliveries into store on a regular basis.

This role will include weekend working.

·        Full clean valid LGV C + E driving licence;

·        Driver’s full CPC qualification and digi card;

·        Driving rigid vehicles with drawbar trailers experience preferred but training can be provided for suitable candidates;

·        Must have a smart appearance as this role is customer facing;

·        Flexibility and good timekeeping is essential, as rounds could change at short notice to meet the operational needs of the business;

·        You will be required to assist in the loading of vehicles as and when required;

·        The ability to adhere to stringent Health and Safety guidelines.
