Spark Power, a trusted partner in energy in North America, is looking for a Part time Warehouse Associate reporting directly to the Regional Operations Manager and indirectly to the Asset Manager to support with inventory management, the Warehouse Associate will play an integral part of the overall success to the Operations, focusing on making efficiencies through inventory management as well as through coordination of equipment and materials for jobs. Branches supported may vary based on company and/or individual performance and may change at any time. Being organized, analytical and having strong communication skills will be an asset to this role.

*******************************************************Must be flexible to work Part Time Two days a week*******************************************

  • Shipping / Receiving duties as required., including loading / unloading of trucks.
  • Inspect incoming goods against purchase orders, record and communicate shortages and/or damages.
  • Maintain internal records pertaining to PO receipts, inventory quantities, and inventory allocation.
  • Responsible to ensure the accuracy, availability & maintenance of all Tools, PPE & related supplies.
  • Collaborate very closely with a multitude of different departments, including but not limited to: Project Managers, Branch Managers, Operations.
  • Stage materials for upcoming jobs and adjust inventory appropriately.
  • Oversee the management of inventory through cycle counting, identifying, and resolving discrepancies through due diligence and making required adjustments.
  • May be required to pick up products from vendors and/or deliver products to sites, and/or travel to other branches.
  • Work directly with the Fleet Manager to successfully establish a field focus approach and fully support the operations of the business.
  • Duties as otherwise assigned.
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience in the Electrical Contracting or Construction industry will be considered a strong asset.
  • Intermediate skills with Excel, Outlook
  • Hardworking, self-starter with the ability to take ownership/accountability over the receiving process, inventory, and shop cleanliness
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environment with multiple and changing priorities via a multitude of communications, ie: email, phone, etc…
  • Organized, diligent, and able to track and manage multiple streams of information on an ongoing basis.
  • Team player
  • Forklift Operator license an asset
  • A firm commitment to corporate health and safety practices and policies is essential.
  • Valid Driver’s License with clear abstract
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
