Director of Facilities

Job Summary: As the Director of Facilities, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of all residential and commercial facilities for our client. This includes managing a team of 9 staff members, handling vendor relationships, and ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep of all properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and/or commercial facilities management and a strong understanding of HVAC systems. Key Responsibilities: - Manage a team of 9 staff members, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations - Oversee the maintenance and repairs of all residential and commercial properties - Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors for facility maintenance and repairs - Ensure compliance with all safety and building codes - Develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient facility management - Monitor and manage facility budgets and expenses - Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of all facilities - Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in facilities management Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field - Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential and/or commercial facilities management - Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and building codes - Experience managing a team and working with vendors - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines - Proficient in Microsoft Office and facility management software This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced facilities professional to join a reputable company and make a significant impact.
