~2 min readYou'll spend your days in the field with water utility operators, engineers, and superintendents who are responsible for keeping critical infrastructure running. You'll listen intently, ask sharp questions, diagnose real challenges, and recommend the right combination of products and services that help their systems perform at the highest level.
This is technical, relationship-driven sales that rewards people who can think on their feet, translate complex solutions clearly, and become a trusted advisor to their customers.
The Right Person for This Role
We're looking for a smart, hungry, and humble sales professional who thrives when challenged:
- →You genuinely love sales and get energy from meeting new people and solving problems.
- →You're outgoing and build real connections quickly, yet you know how to listen more than you talk.
- →You're technically curious and enjoy mastering product knowledge so you can confidently solve complex issues.
- →You're comfortable presenting to groups from small teams to larger utility audiences and can explain technical concepts in a clear, compelling way.
- →You communicate exceptionally well both verbally and in writing.
- →You're self-motivated, take extreme ownership of your territory, and are driven to win while staying grounded and team-oriented.

What Winning Looks Like
- →Consistently completing 4–5 high-quality in-person customer visits per day.
- →Maintaining excellent records and detailed notes that drive follow-up and long-term success.
- →Generating at least 5 strong quote requests per week.
- →Consistently hitting (and ideally exceeding) both personal and team sales targets.
- →Becoming the go-to resource who presents solutions with ease and earns lasting customer trust.
