Bank Engineer

Spire Nottingham Hospital is seeking an experienced Engineer / Electrician to join our Bank team. This flexible role supports the hospital during peak periods, annual leave, and staff absence, helping to maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

• →Deliver a comprehensive engineering and maintenance service across the hospital site
• →Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), testing, calibration, and fault finding
• →Diagnose and repair faults across plant, equipment, and building systems
• →Support installation works and ensure all systems operate safely and efficiently

• →Electrical and general building maintenance
• →Water systems
• →Ventilation systems
• →Decontamination equipment
• →Medical gas systems
• →General engineering duties

You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with HTM guidelines, PPM schedules, and manufacturer instructions at all times.

• Completed a recognised apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• City & Guilds (or equivalent) qualification in a relevant discipline
• Proven experience in building services within a similar environment
• Strong working knowledge of plant and building systems
• Ability to prioritise workloads and respond to changing demands
• Up-to-date understanding of compliance and relevant legislation (or willingness to learn)
