Healthcare Assistant - Pre-Assessment/Spire London East - Redbridge/Bank Ad-Hoc Shifts
Spire London East Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an Healthcare Assistant to join the Bank Team in the Pre-Assessment department working ad hoc shifts.
Responsibilities
~1 min readTo assist the multi-disciplinary team to provide exemplary care in a variety of hospital settings.
- →Undertake routine tasks related to individual’s health and well being
- →Assess the health and wellbeing needs of people whose needs are relatively stable and consistent.
- →Establish and maintain communication with people on routine care matter
- →Develop own and others’ personal development.
- →Monitor and maintain health and safety and security for self and others
- →Contribute to the implementation of services
- →Ensure own actions promote quality
- →Promote people’s equality, diversity and rights
- →Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI.
- NVQ Health Awards level 3 competence
- Previous hospital experience in either pre-assessment, surgical ward or outpatients
- Experience of planning work and acting under own initiative
- Patient/customer facing experience
- Working as part of a team
- Awareness of health safety and hygiene and infection control
- Computer literate and trained in Microsoft Office
