Bank Perioperative Practitioner

Spire Washington Hospital are looking for an experienced Theatre Practitioner to join their bank theatre team on weekdays. The role will provide excellent care and require the post holder to participate and contribute to proving services within the Theatre Unit. There are opportunities to further develop your Theatre skills through training and gaining experience within a leading private hospital.

We mainly have weekday shifts available, please only apply for this role if you can provide weekday cover.

Spire Washington is a 35 in-patient bedded hospital with 10 consultation and 2 treatment rooms based just off junction 63 of the A1 with great commuter links. Our Hospital offers a range of services and facilities including four operating theatres covering specialities including Orthopaedics and Gynaecology and a full Diagnostic suite.

• →Working as part of this friendly and supportive team you can expect to assist patients undergoing a variety of elective procedures including ENT, neurological, orthopaedic, laparoscopic, ophthalmic, gynaecology and urology.
• →Prepare the operating theatre/anaesthetic room for surgery in relation to instrumentation, equipment and supplies required for specific operative procedures, ensuring waste is kept to a minimum
• →Ensure the Patient Record is completed in a timely and accurate way
• →Run a theatre list without supervision

• HCPC Registered or NMC Registered
• Must have scrub experience
• Excellent communication and organisational skills are key to continue our high standards of patient care.
• Experience of working in teams and with minimum supervision
