Spire Harpenden Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our physio team on a bank basis.
This is a flexible, ad-hoc role supporting the inpatient physiotherapy service, working with post-operative patients to help prepare them for discharge home.
- Deliver high-quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment and advice to inpatient and outpatient patients
- Manage your own clinical caseload as an autonomous practitioner
- Work closely within a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery and rehabilitation
- Provide safe and effective post-operative physiotherapy care
- Support inpatient services as required
- Degree qualified Physiotherapist (BSc Hons or equivalent)
- Current HCPC registration with no restrictions
- Previous post-graduate physiotherapy experience within an NHS or private hospital setting

Experience working across both inpatient and outpatient physiotherapy services is highly desirable
- Experience assessing, diagnosing and treating a varied caseload
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Flexible approach to working patterns and clinical areas
- Availability to work at least 1-2 shifts a week
Pattern of work would be weekdays and/or weekends, on average 8am-5pm
