Spire Leeds Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Children’s Nurse to join our Bank Staffing Team. Spire Leeds Hospital, located in Roundhay, Leeds, has been treating patients for almost 30 years. We are the region’s largest private hospital in terms of the range of services we offer and the number of consultants we work with. The hospital offers a range of services and facilities including four operating theatres, a sterile services department, a dedicated endoscopy suite, and a diagnostic and imaging department with an MRI and CT scanner. There are outpatient and physiotherapy departments providing services six days per week
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Delivering excellent pre and post -surgical care to paediatric patients
- →Assisting in clinics, minor operations and recovery
- →Assist in the delivery of family centred care to meet the health and wellbeing needs of patients.
- →Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
- →Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others.
- →Promotes best Practise in Health and Safety, security, and safeguarding the welfare of children.
- Be NMC registered Nurse with a Children’s qualification - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions
- Previous experience within a surgical setting would be advantageous
- Paediatric CCU experience would be advantageous but not essential
- Recovery experience would be ideal, however training can be given
- Flexibility is essential for this opportunity
