Spire Claremont Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Bank Specialist MRI Radiographer to join our experienced and dynamic Imaging team. This is a bank role working ad hoc shifts to cover annual leave and sickness.
Spire Claremont Hospital has provided first-class independent healthcare at the heart of the South Yorkshire community since 1953. Our hospital is situated among beautifully landscaped grounds in Crosspool, Sheffield and it is situated 3 miles (about 20 minutes) to the south west of Sheffield city centre.
Claremont Hospital has 42 beds, three laminar flow theatres, 13 consulting rooms, a static MRI and CT scanner, and plain and digital X-ray. The hospital provides surgery and outpatients with diagnostic imaging services.
Responsibilities

- →Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information
- →Develops a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security
- →Keeping accurate records and updating records when needed
- →Ensuring a high standard of patient care is maintained throughout

Essential Requirements
-
- BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
- HCPC Registration.
- Post-registration experience in MRI imaging.
- Strong understanding of MRI safety procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to meet service requirements.

Desirable
- Experience working on Siemens MRI systems.
- Previous experience within an independent healthcare setting.
- IV Cannulation qualification.
- Knowledge and experience of contrast-enhanced MRI procedures.
- Evidence of continued professional development.
