Bank Sterile Services Assistant

Spire Nottingham are looking for a Sterile Services Assistant to join their multi-disciplinary theatre team providing exemplary care in the Sterile Services department by cleaning, sterilising and packing theatre instruments. Ensuring theatre instruments are correct and ready for use, this role is a physically demanding role which involved heavy lifting.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all hospital areas, including clinical and non-clinical spaces
• Complete daily and deep cleaning schedules in line with infection control standards
• Prepare rooms to the correct layout, ensuring they are ready for use
• Ensure all public areas and offices are consistently clean and presentable
• Support the wider team with general housekeeping duties as required

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience in a public or healthcare environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and a proactive approach
• Flexibility to work evenings and occasional weekends
• Access to your own transport (due to limited public transport links)
