Responsibilities
~1 min read- →To lead provision of exemplary planned care for patients aged from birth to 16 years
- →Lead specialist in all clinical areas providing specialist education and audit.
- →To ensure the teams delivery of effective care by providing excellent clinical and managerial leadership.
- →Develops a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety, security and safeguards the welfare of children and young persons
- →Develop and improve services
- →Improve quality
- →Support and enable equality, diversity and rights.
- →Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practices.
- →Delegate work to others.
- →Determine the effective use of efficient use of physical and financial resources.
- →Undertake Human Resource activities for all members of the team.
- →Plan, monitor and quality assure the application of technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment.
- Be NMC registered Nurse with a Children’s qualification - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions
- Experience of working at clinical leadership/management level within a paediatric department.
- Have the ability to create and maintain relationships with a variety of clinical and non-clinical staff
- Flexibility is essential for this opportunity to support the needs of the growing service covering inpatients and outpatients
- It would be desirable to have phlebotomy and paediatric ILS, or be willing to complete a a university course
- Ability to plan and prioritise care for patients with good time management skills.
- A surgical background is highly desirable.
- Appropriate proven leadership and management experience.
- The ability to manage change enthusiastically whilst assisting to lead, manage and develop the CYP service
