Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Working as part of this friendly and supportive team you can expect to assist patients undergoing a variety of elective procedures including Major Orthopaedic including robotic and foot and ankle, laparoscopic, bariatrics, Robotics gynaecology and urology, Spinal, Breast
- →You will be required to provide exemplary care in the recovery or post-operative phase of surgery using appropriate clinical knowledge including support from other team members
- →Respect the patient’s dignity, privacy, wishes and beliefs while in your care
- →Maintain high standard of care and effective communication to patients
- →Undertaking coordinating roles within area when no team lead available
- Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with recovery / PACU (Post Anaesthetic Care Unit) experience or competence
- Experience of working in teams independently within a small team
- Experience in all types of surgery, excluding cardiac and neurological
- ALS/ILS desirable not essential as training will be given if required
