Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey. You will work closely with nurses and clinicians to ensure patients receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.

→Accurately label, handle, and prepare specimens for transportation and testing.
→Support clinicians and nurses with patient assessments, treatments, and procedures.
→Monitor and record patient observations as required.
→Prepare clinical rooms and equipment for consultations and procedures.
→Deliver a high standard of patient-centred care, ensuring dignity, privacy, and comfort at all times

An experienced, and preferably NVQ level 2/3 qualified HCA
Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in a clinical, outpatient, hospital, or GP setting.
Phlebotomy skills are essential
A caring, compassionate, and professional approach to patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Understanding of infection prevention, patient safety, and confidentiality standards.
Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
