POA Administrator

Spire Southampton Hospital is currently looking for an experienced Administrator to join their Pre-Assessment team on a part-time, permanent basis. You will be required to work 2 days per week, on a Monday and Tuesday either 08:00 - 16:00 or 09:00 - 17:00. Applicants who cannot commit to these hours need not apply.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Support and compliance of standardised department process and procedures.
- →Maintain and update patient records on SAP.
- →Liaising with consultants and their secretaries regarding booking information and to inform consultants of any changes in procedure.
- →To book patients into pre-assessment clinics identified by the pre-assessment nurses.
- →Prepare files for patients' admission and pass to relevant department the day before admission.
- →Flexible approach to undertake a wide range of duties as and when required.
- Previous relevant experience in an administrative support role
- Customer facing role
- Computer literate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for customers
- Working collaboratively
- Have a systematic and organised approach to work
- Maintain complete confidentiality, discretion and loyalty at all times
