Spire Manchester Hospital is now recruiting a experienced  CT Radiographer to join its dedicated and supportive team as a Team Lead. The Manchester team currently consists of over 800 colleagues and we are rapidly expanding as we increase the scope of services we provide across our experienced and dynamic teams. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead in the development of assessing patient’s health and wellbeing needs across complex and changing caseloads
  • Lead in the development of patient care, alongside meeting individual’s health and wellbeing needs
  • Develop own managerial, clinical knowledge and skills, actively assist the team to continually develop their own skills
  • Actively develop and promote best practice in health, safety and security
  • Deliver and lead others in the development of strategies, ideas, including working practices and policies for service improvement
  • Enable and promote people’s equality, diversity and rights
  • Actively plan, monitor and quality assure the application of technology measurement, monitoring and treatment of patients
  • Act as an advocate for safeguarding patients
  • With the support of the General Manager, undertake Human Resources activities for all direct reports, as required
  • To foster and maintain a close working relationship with the Diagnostic Imaging Manager at Spire Manchester Hospital, in relation to overseeing the implementation of PACS/RIS data accuracy including monitoring of QA
  • Be accountable for all clinical governance and regulatory matters for the department

 

  • You will hold a Diploma or Degree in Radiography and be registered with the HCPC 
  • Experience working within CT
  • Strong leadership experience   
  • You will need to possess strong communication skills and have a good standard of IT.
  • Previous experience within private healthcare is desirable but not essential.
  • Have good communication skills
