Spire Nottingham Hospital is seeking a motivated Administrator to join our Theatre team. This role is perfect for someone with strong organisational and administrative skills who wants to work in a professional and collaborative environment, playing a key role in supporting patient care behind the scenes.
This is a part-time position working 15 hours per week. Shifts will be scheduled Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 6pm, with occasional Saturday working required to meet service needs.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Coordinate daily theatre schedules, maintaining accurate operating lists and effective diary management.
- →Provide efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the theatre department.
- →Act as the first point of contact, managing queries and directing them appropriately.
- →Deliver a high standard of customer service to patients, consultants and colleagues.
- →Support the Theatre Manager in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the theatre department.
- →Maintain quality systems and support compliance with relevant regulatory and healthcare standards, including CQC requirements.
- →Manage and distribute information to internal and external stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Access to your own transport is essential due to limited public transport links.
- Previous experience in an administrative support role.
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other administrative systems, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience handling confidential information appropriately and professionally.
- Previous healthcare administration experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
