Womens Health Specialist Physiotherapist - Pelvic Health | Physiotherapy | Redbridge | Bank, ad hoc shifts | from £30 per hour

Spire London East Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Bank Specialist Physiotherapist (Womens Health) to join our experienced and dynamic outpatients’ team. You will be required to cover various clinics throughout the week.

Spire London East Hospital (Formerly Spire Roding) is located in Redbridge, on the borders of East London and Essex. We offer comprehensive private hospital services, ranging from outpatient clinics and physiotherapy to surgery and diagnostic facilities. The hospital has 24 inpatient beds and 16 day case rooms called ‘pods’. Facilities include four operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, 2 extended recovery units, pharmacy and radiology.

 

Responsibilities

To provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice to patients within the outpatient department and/or ward, dependant on applicant. Discuss, agree and explain responsibilities for the physiotherapy assessment of patients, including their needs and any associated risks. Using clinical reasoning skills develop treatment plans that are appropriate to the patient taking into consideration their physiotherapy care, risks and wellbeing. 

  • Be HCPC registered - your registration should not have any restrictions or conditions.
  • Post graduate experience in relevant specialism e.g.  Pelvic Health physiotherapy 
  • Have a minimum of 1 year Pelvic Health Physiotherapy experience in the UK.
  • Previous hospital experience desirable. 
  • Excellent communication skills, along with being organised and can showcase excellent patient care. Possess Equipment and Medical Devices Competences any additional competences relevant to job role.
  • Possess the Mandatory Training including Infection Control competences and health and safety 
  • Willing to work flexible patterns e.g. evenings/weekend/on call as required
  • Trained on MS Office and other relevant packages
