Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst at Sporty, you’ll be mining through petabytes of data to provide key insights that drive core business decisions. You’ll create dashboards that are used on a daily basis by product managers, traders, and executives, as well as provide in-depth reports on various areas of the business with complete freedom on your methodology.

Furthermore, our analysts play a key role in ensuring the stability of our reporting infrastructure. They are vital in maintaining our ability to deliver accurate and consistent reporting to the various stakeholders.

• →Analysing large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support business decision-making.
• →Designing, defining, and monitoring  core business KPIs to evaluate product and operational performance.
• →Partnering with product, marketing, and business teams to translate business questions into structured data analysis.
• →Delivering clear, concise, and data-driven insights to stakeholders and shareholders through presentations and reports.
• →Developing and maintaining dashboards and reporting frameworks that enable self-service analytics.
• →Conducting ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and emerging business needs.
• →Ensuring data quality and integrity by validating datasets and collaborating with data engineering teams when needed.

• 3+ years experience in a similar data-driven role 
• Excellent working knowledge of SQL 
• Familiarity with Python and a range of BI and data visualization tools
• Strong knowledge with ETL data pipelines
• Strong knowledge of A/B Testing
• Familiarity with Airflow
• Understanding of principles of relational databases and data warehouse 
• Strong understanding of sports and gaming will be beneficial 
• Proactive and self-driven with excellent analytical skills 
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment 
• Great communication skills

• Hands-on experience with machine learning
• Relevant knowledge or experience in the gaming industry
• Working knowledge of Python
• Experience with Airflow and Metabase
