Spotify is looking for a Marketing Manager to lead our marketing strategy and execution in Taiwan. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who can set strategy, lead integrated campaigns, create scroll-stopping social content, and make Spotify one of the most talked-about brands in one of Asia's most vibrant music markets.
Taiwan is the birthplace of Mandopop and a cultural tastemaker for the broader Chinese-speaking world. Growing the Spotify brand and business in this market demands genuine cultural fluency, a deep understanding of what resonates across social platforms, strong relationships within the music and creative industries, and the ability to turn insights into bold, locally relevant campaigns that grow our listener base and strengthen our connection with fans and artists.
Reporting to the SEA Head of Marketing, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams across Taiwan and the wider region to shape strategy, deliver impactful campaigns, and represent the Taiwan market at a regional and global level.
You'll partner with teams across Music, Growth, Communications, Business Development, Partnerships, and other functions to bring Spotify's brand to life in Taiwan and help unlock new opportunities for growth.
Own Spotify Taiwan's consumer marketing strategy, driving free user acquisition, engagement, and Premium consideration
Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, out-of-home, experiential, and earned media with ideas designed to spark conversation and deliver measurable business impact
Lead go-to-market planning for key product launches, seasonal campaigns, and major cultural moments
Localize global campaigns for Taiwanese audiences, ensuring every activation reflects genuine cultural relevance rather than simple translation
Use audience insights, market intelligence, and campaign performance data to inform decisions and continuously optimize marketing effectiveness
Measure, analyze, and communicate campaign performance to regional leadership through clear recommendations and actionable insights
Lead Spotify's Taiwan brand strategy in alignment with regional and global positioning while ensuring the brand feels authentic and locally meaningful
Partner closely with the Taiwan Music team to develop campaigns supporting priority local and global releases and create scalable marketing frameworks for label partners
Manage the Taiwan marketing budget, prioritizing investments that deliver the greatest impact
Build and maintain strong relationships with creative, media, production, and agency partners to consistently deliver high-quality work
Act as the voice of the Taiwan market, influencing regional and global stakeholders on campaign strategy, creative development, and market priorities
Build collaborative relationships across Editorial, Artist & Label Partnerships, Communications, Business Development, Legal, and other cross-functional teams
You have 6+ years of experience in consumer or brand marketing, with strong experience leading marketing initiatives in Taiwan
You have deep knowledge of Taiwan's music, entertainment, and cultural landscape, including Mandopop, emerging artists, internet culture, and local media
You have successfully led integrated marketing campaigns from strategy through execution that delivered measurable business results
You have created or led campaigns and social content that generated outsized reach, engagement, or cultural conversation relative to budget
You know how to use data and customer insights to develop business cases, evaluate campaign performance, and optimize future marketing investments
You have experience managing agencies, external partners, and cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
You have exceptional storytelling instincts and understand how to create culturally relevant campaigns that resonate with Taiwanese audiences
You communicate confidently with senior stakeholders and can influence decisions across regional and global teams
You are highly organized, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment
You have experience working within technology, media, entertainment, or other consumer-focused industries
You are fluent in both Mandarin and English, written and spoken
This role is based in Taipei
