St. Paul’s School seeks intern teachers for its Advanced Studies Program for the summer of 2027. Positions will be filled on a rolling basis beginning in December. The deadline for applications for ASP 2027 is January 15, 2027. The 2027 ASP Intern Teacher dates of employment are June 21 - August 1, 2027. Responsibilities
~1 min readA great opportunity for those interested in education, ASP interns assist their assigned, experienced teacher in presenting lessons and in supervising evening study hours. Orientation, upon arrival to campus, prepares interns for their responsibilities in and out of the classroom.
In addition to teaching and tutoring in cooperation with the major teacher, the interns live in dormitories along with students, other interns, and a house supervisor. Four afternoons a week interns oversee and instruct students in various sports and activities. Interns’ responsibilities include evening house supervision and evening library and classroom supervision on a regular basis. Classes and duties (dorm duty and chaperone duty) take place on the weekends as well as during the week. Interns are required to attend interfaith chapel services four mornings a week and weekly intern meetings.
Requirements
~1 min readApplicants should demonstrate a genuine interest in being a member of a community of learners, a willingness to work hard, and a strong academic record. While we consider applicants who will have completed their sophomore year through recent college graduates, ASP interns are typically rising seniors. Education courses are not a prerequisite.
Competitive stipend, housing, and meals included. Employment is conditioned upon the satisfactory completion of background checks which include checking references, criminal history records, social media, motor vehicle records, and verifications of your previous employment and education.

The Advanced Studies Program is an initiative of St. Paul’s School, a residential, co-educational secondary school in Concord, NH affiliated with the Episcopal Church and welcoming of all faiths. The ASP actively seeks applications from candidates who will promote the School’s commitment to engaging a highly talented and diverse faculty. A successful candidate will embrace the fully residential living experience and have demonstrated an interest in engaging a diverse student body.
The Advanced Studies Program Internship includes a generous stipend as well as room, board, and possible travel expenses.
