Supply Chain Analyst

SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a Supply Chain Analyst.  The selected candidate will serve as a key liaison between suppliers and internal teams, ensuring on-time delivery and supporting critical supply chain activities. The ideal candidate will manage procurement processes, drive effective communication with suppliers, and contribute to continuous improvement across supply chain operations.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to conduct in-depth discussions and solve problems regarding all aspects of Supply Chain Management
• Ability to be the main point of contact and liaison between suppliers and Manufacturing/PMs/Planners
• Monitor and manage purchase orders to delivery dates, program need dates and to closure
• Coordinate shipments and work to improve supply chain processes
• Work with suppliers to reduce delays and increase communications through calls, meeting and visits
• Help with onboarding suppliers as needed using the company ERP system (Deltek Costpoint)
• Support supply chain related initiatives as necessary and be able to present material to internal/external customers

Position Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in business, Supply Chain or manufacturing with 2+ years of experience in procurement activities, manufacturing or supply chain.
  • Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience can be used in lieu of degree and experience
• Ability to present/facilitate meetings and drive action items to closure
• Ability to work cross functionality to achieve a common goal
• Working knowledge of basic purchasing procedures a plus
• Understanding of MS office products is a must with strong MS excel and MS queries knowledge
• Foundational understanding of basic supply chain KPIs
• Basic knowledge of Supply Chain activities including, replenishment, sourcing, logistics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical skills with the ability to multi-task
• Ability to provide guidance and advice during teleconferences and meetings
• Able to successfully communicate in person and on the phone with both technical and acquisition specialists

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $65,500 to $75,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
