Field Service Technician

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a dependable Field Service Technician to support the operation and maintenance of decentralized wastewater treatment systems.

This is an entry-level, hands-on field position. Previous wastewater experience is not required—the company will train the right person and provide support toward obtaining the required wastewater operator license.

• →Travel to wastewater treatment stations throughout the workday.
• →Collect process and compliance samples, including pH testing.
• →Monitor flow rates, chemical levels, and equipment status.
• →Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs.
• →Respond to system alarms and troubleshoot basic issues.
• →Maintain accurate electronic logs, photos, testing data, and compliance documentation.
• →Follow EPA, environmental, and company safety procedures.
• →Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable 5-year MVR.
• Must pass a background check.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and math skills.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable using email and basic computer applications.
• Able to work independently, outdoors, and spend much of the day driving between sites.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to obtain the required wastewater operator license within 12 months.
• Plumbing, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, field service, or wastewater experience is a plus but not required.
