• →Work with therapists to provide individualized programs based on each resident's needs and goals.
• →Assist residents with mobility, positioning, standing, range of motion, adaptive bikes, wheelchairs, splints, feeding, grooming, dressing, and communication devices.
• →Provide programs in residential and community settings.
• →Track resident progress and complete required documentation and 90-day reviews.
• →Help train staff on safe positioning, transfers, mobility programs, orthotics, and wheelchair use.
• →Assist therapists with treatments and new or updated programs.
• →Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area and keep equipment in good working condition.
• →Help create and maintain schedules for residents participating in Dynamic Abilities programs.
• →Communicate resident progress and concerns with therapists, QIDPs, and other members of the care team.
• →Participate in staff meetings, training, and quality improvement activities.
• →Follow St. Joseph's Center policies and demonstrate our values of Care, Concern, Compassion, and Commitment.

• →Associate's Degree in Health Sciences, Education, or a related field OR
• →High school diploma with continued education in Health Sciences, Education, or a related field.
• →Hands-on experience or training in Physical Therapy or working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• →Ability to follow individualized programs and work closely with therapists and other team members.
• →Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• →Positive, professional, and dependable attitude.
• →Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to the needs of the people we serve.
• →This position may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, assisting with mobility and positioning, and working with adaptive equipment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
