As a Data Architect - Azure & Snowflake, you will: Define and establish current-state and target-state data architectures across various business use cases. Translate business capabilities and data requirements into effective and actionable data architecture solutions. Design and develop scalable data models aligned with business and technical requirements. Establish architecture patterns and best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and management. Guide the design and implementation of cloud-based data platforms, particularly using Microsoft Azure. Define and implement data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, consistency, security, and compliance. Ensure data architecture solutions comply with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements, including GDPR. Lead architecture reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise data architecture standards. Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and technical teams to deliver effective data solutions. Provide technical guidance and mentor data engineering teams. Drive continuous improvement in data architecture, modelling, governance, and lifecycle management. What You Bring to the Table: 10+ years of overall professional experience in data architecture, data modelling, and cloud data platforms. Extensive experience in Data Architecture and Data Modelling. Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services and cloud data platform architecture. Strong understanding of Snowflake and modern data platform concepts. Experience designing data models and defining data ingestion and transformation patterns. Strong knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality Management, and Data Lifecycle Management. Good understanding of data security, privacy controls, and GDPR compliance. Experience translating business requirements into technical data architecture solutions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience working with Agile methodologies is an advantage. Experience with Power BI and enterprise reporting architecture is desirable. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and other data management tools is an advantage. Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or TOGAF are preferred. You Should Possess the Ability to: Design scalable and sustainable enterprise data architectures aligned with business objectives. Translate complex business requirements into practical data architecture and modelling solutions. Define data ingestion, transformation, and integration patterns. Guide cloud data platform design and architecture decisions using Azure services. Establish data governance practices and ensure compliance with security and privacy requirements. Evaluate existing data architectures and recommend improvements to support future business needs. Lead architecture reviews and communicate technical decisions effectively. Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams. Work effectively in an Agile environment while managing multiple priorities.
